How did we collect this data?

This survey covers the 10 venues we have profiled first-hand across our pizza, biryani, and cafe guides, spanning 7 sectors and commercial areas of Islamabad: F-7, G-11, E-11, F-10, F-11, F-6, and Blue Area. For each venue we recorded the per-head price range from official menus and delivery-app listings, plus the current Google Maps rating and review count, verified in June 2026. We did not include venues we have not visited or could not independently verify on Google Maps. We plan to re-run this survey and refresh the numbers periodically as we add more venues to the site.

Which Islamabad restaurants are the cheapest?

The two biryani specialists in our survey are by far the cheapest: Biryani Hut in G-11 Markaz (Rs 200–500 per head, 4.2★ across 993 reviews) and Biryani Spot in E-11 (Rs 200–600 per head, 4.8★ across 295 reviews). Both undercut every cafe and pizzeria in the survey by a wide margin — a full meal at either costs less than a single specialty coffee at most of the cafes we checked. Biryani Spot also stays open until 1 am and offers an all-you-can-eat option, which helps explain its 4.8-star rating despite a lower review count than the larger chains.

Which Islamabad restaurants cost the most?

Tuscany Courtyard in Kohsar Market (F-6) has the highest price ceiling in the survey at Rs 1,000–6,000 per head, reflecting its wood-fired Italian menu and rooftop courtyard setting. House of Chilli in F-10 is close behind at Rs 1,000–5,000 per head. Both venues have wide price bands because they serve everything from a single shared starter to a full multi-course meal — the bottom of each range (around Rs 1,000) is comparable to the pizzerias and cafes in this survey, but the top end is 5–6x higher.

Which Islamabad restaurants have the best Google ratings?

House of Chilli (F-10) and Biryani Spot (E-11) share the top spot at 4.8 stars. Broadway Pizza in G-11 follows at 4.7 stars across 2,300 reviews — the highest rating among the chains in our survey. L’espresso in F-11 holds 4.6 stars, and Burning Brownie in Blue Area holds 4.5 stars across 6,720 reviews, the second-highest review count of any venue surveyed. Chaayé Khana in F-6’s Super Market has the single highest review count at 9,622, with a 4.3-star average.
